BIOGRAPHY
Stefanie Waegner , cello. (nationality: British and German) studied cello with Emma Ferrand at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, UK, and at the Music University in Graz, Austria (cello with Kerstin Feltz, chamber music with Chia Chou), where she obtained a double Masters´degree in solo performance and chamber music in 2007. She also participated in chamber music master classes with Michael Bochmann, Martin Hornstein, members of the Vermeer Quartet, Johannes Meissl and Christopher Rowland.
She has performed extensively as principal cellist and soloist with numerous chamber orchestras, such as Ensemble Klanglust, the Bamberg University Chamber Orchestra, the Graz Baroque Orchestra and the Salonorchestra Graz.
An enthusiastic chamber musician, she has founded various professional ensembles (in particular piano trios, string quartets and cello/ piano duets), performing in the USA, UK, Taiwan, Italy, Austria, Germany and Spain, and winning prizes at international chamber music competitions in Greece and Austria. For many years she was promoted by the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation “Live Music Now” and the “Vita Activa Foundation”, performing regularly in their musical outreach programmes.
Stefanie is a member of the faculty of the Franconian Chamber Music Academy (Germany) as well as the Centre for Music Education and Outreach (Vienna). From October 2011 she is part of the faculty of the Chamber Music Academy (CMA) at Mahidol University.

Parvati Mani , piano. was raised in Vienna where she began her piano studies. At fifteen, she went to Interlochen Arts Academy to study piano with Yoshikazu Nagai. She received her BM degree from the Eastman School of Music as a student of Thomas Schumacher, and her MM degree from the San Francisco Conservatory as a student of Yoshikazu Nagai. She has participated in numerous summer festivals including the Aspen Music Festival and School in 2009, the Beijing International Music Festival and Academy in 2008, and the Eastern Music Festival in the summers of 2003, 2005, and 2007. She has received the Howard Hanson Scholarship during her studies at Eastman, the Beatrice M. Rine Piano Scholarship while studying at the San Francisco Conservatory, and the Gordon and Lillian Hardy Scholarship to study at the Aspen Music Festival and School. She has performed in the United States, Thailand, and Japan, including at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., and the Kobe Asahi Hall in Japan. She performs regularly, including collaborations with other faculty for recitals and guest appearances at international conferences and festivals at Mahidol University. She has also accompanied for international competitions. She has been a faculty member at Mahidol University since 2010. Education background Ms. Parvati obtained 2008 B.M. (Piano Performance) Eastman School of Music and 2010 M.M. (Piano Performance) San Francisco Conservatory.
